The weather in SW Idaho has been purely nuts for the past couple of months. Rain, 45° one day, sun and 65 next, then 50 with 30 mph winds from the north, throw in a 70° once a week, and so on. I don't like to ride in the cold and the by the time the day was warm enough to ride there was only about 2 hours of warmth left! Tie that to me wanting to make a 30+ mile trip to get the RT washed and gassed and warmed up good to mix the oil so I could get a good representative sample to send to a lab, and I finally felt comfortable going for it today!
I needed to get some lumber from Home Depot so decided today was the day! Only forgot one or two minor things about how to operate the bike and all the rest came back like I've been riding all winter! Sure felt good. I pulled an oil sample as soon as I got home and will send it to the lab next week. It'll be interesting to see the results after only 4200 miles but 2 years and 2 winter layups. I'll post when I get them.
The CanAm trailers are nice and have a lot going for them, unless you want to haul lumber! I had a nice trip and couldn't tell the trailer was behind me!
