Fires fires fires everywhere

Hi everyone
Bruce up in British Columbia Canada sent me an email asking about our safety
and it prompted me to post this here,
Julie and I and our Jack Russel's dog are fine, Safe and away from the fires you must be seeing
on TV, we live in the San Joaquin valley where it is mostly flat land and it is all farms.
The farmers and other property owners here are very proactive and keep EVERYTHING trimmed and cut back as well
as removing any grasses that may burn, they have much more to loose than a house,
We live on a very large for us chunk of land 2+ acres our neighbors are at least 2 acres away.
so our fire danger here is very low ( KNOCK ON WOOD ) ....
And now a little update on Good Ole Dave,
I am now in a walking boot, this picture is of me out at a restaurant with my wife having dinner
for the first time since July been a prisoner to my recliner all that time with leg up in the air , 2 surgeries
and casts.... I don't even have a good story about how I shattered my foot, no motorcycle accident, gang fight ,
football, nothing all I did is fall down in my garage.....
So thanks for all your support...
Ride safe everyone and send a prayer to all the people in the fire zones
