• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Final reflections on MIssouri

Now that I've made it home, and dug out from underneath the largest piles of stuff on my desk; I've had some time to think about SpyderFest 2016 a bit...
1. The folks in Springfield are always quick with a smile and a welcome. They make you feel as if you've come home to a family re-union.
2. The roads... If I could bring just one of them home with me: I couldn't! It'd be impossible to pick one out of all of them!
3. They sure do know how to make some great barbecue!
4. Seeing old friends at SpyderFest is more about getting caught up on the latest news with longtime friends. Making new friends at SpyderFest is about finally getting the chance to meet the friends that you haven't yet had the privilege of meeting.
5. I need to bring more money to the Vendors' Village.... LOTS more!
6. The East Coast Posse: Riding with them was an honor. Laughing with them was a blast! Thanks, guys!
EDIT:
I forgot #7 :opps:

7. A double-round of thanks to the MOGang, for all of the work that they put into making this one the best ever!:clap:

How did Kathy like her tie-dyed shirt? Was that sufficient to appease her for all the money you spent on farkles for your Spyder?

Bob,

It was a pleasure to have finally met you in person!
How do you like your new LED headlights?

Les

Great....

How will they better all that...?? but you have to give credit where credit is due, they are the best at pulling off these amazing events but the folks that come and those that return make it that much better. From what we have seen (those that didn't make it) it is all you said it is and more....:2thumbs: and still the :firstplace: spyder event ....

MEETING NEW FRIENDS

Bob, It was a pleasure meeting you at Spyderfest, we had several nice chats that I enjoyed, maybe we will both be at the BW again next year..

Great info folks. My brother, who now lives in NW Arkansas, said that he saw a couple packs of :spyder2::spyder2: in his area. He said 16 to 20 strong.

Being new to the game, wondering if SpyderFest is always held in the same location or is it moved around?

Currently, SF is connected with Pitbull, Lamont, and the MO Gang. Not likely it will move unless they do. If was originally held in Cuba MO, but moved when Pitbull and Lamont changed to Springfield.

Bob, it was great to see you again. The jerky was awesome. The Reaper was killer (no pun intended). And yes, my wallet is empty.

Bob, it was great to finally meet you in person and talk with you a bit! Hopefully next year I will have lots more time for socializing and riding and lots less in the vortex of Vendor Village.:doorag:

....Bob - what about the " BACON " ?????......I kept that frozen for 36 hrs. and 1450 miles !!!!..... :gaah:......Mike :bbq:

I'm glad that you liked the jerky!
As good as it was; Joe's parties were even better!

I like your jerky so much I had to order some for myself. I order the painfully hot. They have two type one with ghost peppered. I don't know what you brought to the party so I ordered both.
