• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Filled up with gas in my F3L

Why when I filled up my gas tank stops early. I need to spent another few minutes adding gas very slowly, maybe another $1.00 or $2.00. Suggestions? Thanks.

Depends....

How far you put the nozzle into the tank. Back in the day they sold a retainer for nozzels with the vapor rings so you could see what you were doing. Here in California the nozzles are a pain but i hold back the boot and fill till i see bubnles or splashing around the vent holes.....

I used to put the nozzle in about an inch and let it fill on the lowest speed and that would be the end of it. I learned real fast that when I did that the top fuel bar never lit up. Now, when I'm on the road, I take a few extra seconds to top it off.

Exactly my point, the top fuel bar never lit up if you do not top it off. Only ranting, it sucks....

I do it this way also. Tom :spyder:

I fill normally until I see the level approaching the filler ring. I add gas slowly then until it reaches the ring. Your aim has to be good because the nozzle is out of the filler a bit. The gas will go down from the filler ring the first time, so I come up to the ring twice. It is as full as its going to get, the top bar is usually exceeded by a bit.
