• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fender chop and slight rant

Picked up my rear fender from the paint shop. Don't have time to put in on and install my elka 2 yet. Very glad i went with the body color. Not sure why they think mat black is good.
Ok, for my rant. WtF is up with these manufacturers not giving out paint formulas. I finally found a shop that had a mixing system that brp had a paint code for. Complete waste of time because the basf rep couldn't get the formula. Harley dose the same *****. They had to use the camera then tint it to get a decent match. I am very pleased with the final product but tired of this proprietary BS.20210601_170150_copy_2000x934.jpg20210601_170150_copy_2000x934.jpg

The camera is the best option to match colors. When I was just out of school many years ago, (I did body work) they did not have that option. You would get a book with color chips to best match the color paint. If I have to replace a painted part on the Spyder, I would opt to get the camera formula. I would be direct match.
