• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had cast removed from ankle last week, so today I installed the battery(Spyder) and fired her up. Spyder started with no problems. Settled down to a steady idle. Located my insurance card, cash and headed for town office. Paid $96.00 to register. Put 4 gallons of fresh gas and went for a 75 mile ryde. Oh what joy. Hopefully by end of month I will be able to put on my riding boots. Right ankle still over sized. See you on the road. Bruce

Installed the BRP armrests today. Install went well. Upon installing the second armrest, I found that there are two different lengths of screws. So I had to redo the first one. They are nice but they could have been a little bit longer,(my opinion). Bruce

Hey Bruce, good to know you healing up. I started mine yesterday, went for a little spin, and came back working on the wood pile. An hour later went back for another little spin to cool of. It will take a little longer to do fire wood. Damn Spyder. :ani29:

Lucky You!

I'm stuck waiting for my complete right shoulder replacement to heal so I can start rehab. Probably won't be riding until mid to late June. Take Care & enjoying the Ride!

A Spyder owner in Abbot!! You'll find another one in the little village or Rockwood, on Moosehead Lake as it happens. Small world.

Maine in August

Greetings Maine riders, we will be in Maine this August as part of our long Spyder trip from Arizona. We will be coming down from New Brunswick area, plan to stay around Bar Harbor, also visit Acadia park.
Any tips on great roads to ride and good lobster places are greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to touring your beautiful state.
After riding in the heat down here, we are looking forward to some cooler northeast weather.

Thanks
