Feedback on the new Forum Format?

Hello Fellow Spyderlovers.

It has now been a couple weeks since the new forum format has kicked in. We would like to have some feedback from fellow members.

Feel free to tell us what you like, and what you don't like. The only thing we ask is that you keep it civil.

The information will help us to know what the membership is thinking.

It appears the quickest way to do that ^ will be for you all to reload the image in your sig lines - the old 'attachment' format is not supported here at all, and apparently there's no readily available plug-in that'll work...

So it's basically, atm it appears that it's over to you, altho we are still looking & trying - but please, if you do try, SMALL PICS ONLY!! And only a couple of pics at most too, please!

Remember, not all members/readers use PC's or devices with Large Monitors, so if you want your sig line to be seen and your posts to be read (and the Forum to remain a place that others want to keep on visiting! ) your pics AND your sig line NEEDS to be small enough to display and still be seen/read on a cellphone screen!!

That IS there, just with a different label.

If you open the 'Thread' (rather than the 'post'. ) there'll be a 'Jump to new' button above the Top Right Corner of the first post in the thread - clicking on that'll take you to the first post in the thread that your cookies show you haven't opened yet.

I have no complaints with the new format. In a previous incarnation I was a victim of too many PowerPoint presentations that were heavy on form and BS for substance. I follow SL for the substance, which about 10 years ago may have prevented me from purchasing a 2013 RT firebomb Spyder. I'll continue to follow SL as long as it meets my substance expectations.

It always takes some time to get used to a new forum format. Every forum I've been in has eventually changed. I'm getting used to this one now and the more I'm on it the more I like it over the old one.

I am getting used to it. I like the brightness, and the notification bell on the right task bar.

When will I stop getting the Oops message when I login?

I like the new format better overall, but find the max pic upload size is too small to just attach a simple pic from cell phone.

RE; OOPS message....... Here's what I found. I have quick links on my computer to login to various sites that I frequent. For the new SL, I had to delete my old quick link and install a new one. Hope this helps.....

I know you're looking for 'complaints'. But so for, I've found everything I was looking for. Maybe in different place, different name, or different format. But I really like the new site. I know it's a lot of time consuming work to make a change like this. And I've seen changes for the worse. But not this one. Thanks!

I like the new website. The pages( What' new, etc.) are brighter. I am still getting use to the new website.

I will be here for a long time.
