Busy weekend getting the F3-S ready to head to Spyderfest! Took all of the Tupperware off to install:
- Power cord to battery for the heated gear connection
- Garmin Zumo665. I put the satellite antenna under the forward portion of the dash console. I ran the power line back to the GPS connector on the RH side.
- Heated Hand grips
- Lidlox helmet locks
- Original Beemerbuddies
- Custom Dynamics fender TIPS kit, to turn their LED fender lights into turn signals as well as running lights
- Spyderpops skid plate with LED lights.

My finger and hands are sore from reaching into tight places! But it's nice that everything is installed! Lamont was right - there are an awful lot of push pin fasteners on the F3!
I was pleasantly surprised that the motorcycle lift that I had worked quite well - used it when I installed the Spyderpops skid plate. Wish I had used it earlier.

I also hooked up the heated Corbin seat to the customer accessory circuit under the back seat. I'd recommend that Corbin take another look at where they place the on-off switch for the driver's seat heat. It's exactly where a passenger's leg will hit the seat. To celebrate getting everything installed, I wanted to ride to dinner. It was 80 degrees outside, and I noticed my rear end getting warm. My wife wanted to ride with me, and had hit the on switch. Can't hardly help it - if her left leg brushes up against the seat, it's turning on the heat. The on-off switch needs to be 3 or 4 inches, or more, further forward, or have a boss on either side of the switch to help protect it from being turned on accidentally.
