• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fall day in southern Ohio

Temps got into the low 60's today with deep blue skies and a few puffy clouds. Great day to grab the heated jackets and see some fall color. Not me, says wifey. My card club buddies are playing today. So instead of the Spyder I took one of my other mounts and rode just over 100 miles mostly in Ross and Pike counties and all on secondary roads. Some areas of great fall colors out there. Weather guessers are saying rain and wind starting tomorrow so this may have been the last hoorah for fall colors around here.

There is some awesome color in the NC/Tenn mountains this week. Earlier I saw someone posting pictures with the beautiful leaf colors and snow in the upper areas (there was snow above 4500'). This coming saturday I am leading a small group from the Raleigh area and doing a day trip up to the BRP and down to Little Switzerland and back home. It will be about 450-475 miles, but all in a days ride. This will be our last day trip to the mountains due to the day time hours getting shorter and the time change coming next month.

I'm thinking about a Burgman trip to that area before the month is out, but depends on the weather. I saw where there was snow up around Craggy Gardens.
