• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FACTORY RECALLS

I have a 2013 RT Limited. I have gone on BRP website and noted that there are some recalls for various reasons...power steering, etc.

What is the best way to see if my exact VIN has recalls?

Quick..!!

way would be to have your/a dealer run your vin # and print you out a BUDS report. I'm sure there are other ways some one will come along with...:dontknow:

As stated below, best place to be informed is by the dealer.
On a recall, per law, the manufacturer HAS to inform the owner via mail and instruct what the owner needs to do.
Service Bulletins and warranty issue is more dealt on a dealer-owner agreement: You visit your dealer and they take care of having the machine up to date and fix any issues that are covered by warranty.
Sometimes you can find affected VIN numbers online, but I believe this raises a privacy issue, so manufacturers would rather let dealers take care of these situations.
