F4 Customs Tall and Wide RT windshield question

For those of you that have made this switch from the OEM to the Tall and Wide for the RT model I have a question.
How much difference do you AND your passenger feel compared to the OEM windshield and in particular when it is in its fully extended position at highway speeds? Even lowered all the way to its lowest position, do you notice much difference?
Thinking of catching the sale price before the 31st. I know these are good windshields so not needing endorsements although any thought are appreciated.
Also, I used to have a tinted shield on our Venture. Do you notice much difference in the tinted version?

Thanks for any and all input.

Love mine- tall and wide

I have an F4 tall and wide windshield on my 2013 RT Limited. I took off the tall vented screen that came on it. I am 6'9" tall and the F4 is definitely the way to go for tall folks. The screen goes high enough that I have to look through it unless I stretch my neck to see over it. At lowest it gives me a good breeze for hotter weather. I would say it is the perfect size giving from total protection to plenty of fresh air as it goes up and down its range.

I can not speak directly to the tall and wide shield, but I have the +4 wide, and stock height. I also have a +4 wide and -4 short, tinted, vented shield. The extra width means the world to rider and passenger. Since the windshield is adjustable, I would miss the width more than the height if I was to go back to the stock shield. This +4 width is a plus no matter what brand you go with. My plus 4 wide and stock height is actually from another vendor, and it is great.

I had a F4 tall wide vented on my 2014 Spyder.
This windshield will provide you & your passenger total protection from rain & wind.
I would suggest getting the vented version for this windshield to eliminate buffeting.
Last year I switched to a the F4 stock tinted for 2 reasons.
I'm 5'9" so when in the lowest position on the tall wide for me the top of the shield was in my line of sight so usually only rode with it all the way up.
With the stock shield, on warm days I have the option to ride looking over the shield.
Secondly, had to go for the tinted windshield! Looks Great on a Cognac Spyder and really cuts down the glare of oncoming lights at night!

F4 Customs Tall Wide for your RT

This is Don at F4 Customs and we have a 2016 RT and Kim and I love the tall even though we can ride with any of our shields of course. The reduced buffeting on the passenger is great. I know we own the company so we are biased however its the plus 3 Wide for us. Also if you are going to be able to look over at night we always recommend the tint however many of our customers love the tint even at night. We also have the Baker Air Wings on and we sell them but even if we didn't I would have them as they really help also.
Thanks
Don

Gary if you do decide on this ....especially the very large size .... give some thought to getting a " No Boots " aluminum windshield arm ..... considering how often the OEM one breaks with a normal windshield, the added stress of the F-4 would make me nervous :yikes: ........ jmho..... Mike

The new F4 shield has been ordered.

Thank you Don at F4 for your assistance. It was nice talking to you. Look forward to the new shield and the next riding season to try it out.
