• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3S - New vs Used - What are the going prices now?

..... Question. When I bought my F3S (July2015ish), the prices were about $1000 off with extra free
coverage. Roll forward to today. If you spec'd out the same machine @ $25000 (before taxes), what
are the dealers selling for now?

I got my 2015 F3 SM6 last month for $16000

Depends....

wow....hard to say. It would depend on the dealer, where he is, where you are, conditions etc etc etc....Check with the Kelley Blue book and NADA for some reference numbers and then call around to see. Both have sites where you can enter your state or others to see the differnce....

Was that with any options added, or for the base F3-S? (SE or SM?)

F3-S with no options. SM6. I want to be able to option with the things I want and need, so I opted for no options. And it was an all cash deal and they still wouldn't budge any more. Only reason I went for it is because it was the color scheme I wanted in a'15 model.

I was happy

I was happy about being a new spyder owner but after reading this thread and looking at my paperwork buyers remorse has just set in!

Pricing on any motorcycle, new or used, is mostly a crapshoot. What you end up really paying (out the door price with or without trade) has to do with how hungry, devious, cooperative the dealer is. Part 2: You must do due diligence to make sure that you are getting the best price. Lots of tricks involved here and there are several threads that cover this in detail.

The price you are "happy" with when you drive off the lot should be the "best" price you could have paid. I don't recommend looking back after that point. One can always find a "better" price after the fact. Twenty, twenty hindsight kicks in big time.

Buyers remorse, after the fact, should not happen.

$14,800 for a new 15 F3 SE6. I was looking for a used one but there weren't too many around and all the ones I did find were more than the new one.

I got the 2015 f3s, sm6 black and chrome. It was the color and transmission that I wanted. The f3t is very nice but I like the edgy look of the one that I got. I just know that I paid too much and am kicking myself for it. Hopefully I wont feel as foolish after it gets delivered. I will be posting some pics soon.

Last November I got my baby for 17,600... Some of these prices I see make me wish I could have found there deal.. But so in love and happy.. 2015 F3S SE6

Think like anything new.... considering the F3 came out in late 2014, so not much wiggle room on the new kid on the
block for a while. Having the extra year added to warranty (or was it +2) is nice for whenever I sell it. (Worth its weight
in gold to have coverage like a new unit... low miles, let the 1st buyer eat the depreciation). OH MAN, that's ME!
