• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 trailer hitch

I have a 2015 f3 ,I'm looking for trailer hitch. I wish I would have waited for the 2016 model that you can put a hitch on. Somebody out there must have a hitch for the 2015 model.

The 2015 owners manual says no trailer. Do you have the stock shocks? If so, consider upgrading first.
I am 275lbs with riding gear. With nothing additional on the rear except a passenger backrest. I was entering a Wendy's today (not fast at all) and felt a slight bump in the rear when the shock bottomed.

The stock rear shock is not adjustable at all. I am waiting on Elka Stage 2 shocks (front and rear) to arrive. The replacement shocks on the Can Am website look to be an upgrade over the stock. It is costing $1K less to go with Elka.

Elka
Stage 2 Front $749 a pair, Stage 2 Rear $599, Total = $1348.

BRP
Front $749.99 each (on the order screen it says quantity 1), Rear $949.99, Total = $2449.97.

Yeah..!!

there is a Australian outfit that makes a hitch for the F3 2015. Looks to be a nice one and they were selling them on ebay au...

While I agree the rear shock on the f3 is underwhelming, it has little to do with the trailer hitch ability. The hitch is mounted to the rear axel which is unsprung. IE the tongue weight of the trailer does not apply to the spring or shock.

I also upgraded to the Elka shocks all around.

My F3 is at Bushtec as we speak being used to proto type a hitch, should have it back in 3 weeks. I would suggest that anyone looking for a hitch contact Bushtec and get on the list.
