F3-T Radio weather stations

Hi All,

New to the thread. I have a new 2017 F3-T that I absolutely love. One of the radio options is weather channels. I have the radio configured for US region. However, I am not picking up any weather channels in my area. I am in the central valley of California. I also have several VHF marine radios and I am able to pick up at least two frequencies. Any suggestions?

Mine definitely gets the US weather channels down there. I just got back from a tour through the north west and it worked fine, if a little limited by distance. The short antenna is a bit of a drawback.

Thanks All,

I am thinking that it could be the antenna but who knows. The antennas on my hand held VHF is much shorter. Based on the map, I may just have to take a drive to a location where the signal will be stronger. Oh and that is such a shame
