I've just installed the F-3T passenger backrest (219 400 499) in the pic and torqued all the hardware per the instructions. The completed assembly had a slight wobble at the tubes coming up from the right and left backrest supports. There was no torque spec given for these bolts so I tried contacting Can-Am who recommended I call a local dealership for support. I thought that was pretty odd but did as directed. The dealership I called checked and said the parts involved (see pic) are considered to be a completed assembly from the factory and didn't have any torque specs for it.
We did, however, come on an idea of what the generic specs would be for that size and type of bolt. I went with 136 inch-pounds and that solved the problem.
FYI, the left side latching mechanism was binding about half way through its travel and wouldn't lock-in as it's supposed to. I tried a few times (wishing I knew some swear words in French) and resorted to tapping it with a mallet. It then completed its travel and went into the proper position and stayed there. So the "easy removal" feature may be a bit overstated.
