• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. F3 After Market Accessory Link Request

GunDoctor

New member
As a happy owner of 2 F3's, it would be really nice to have a single point of access to all the various vendors that are, will be, or might be, offering after market accessories for the F3. I have seen several accessory sections on our wonderful sponsor's sites, but they all seem to be BRP products which in my opinion priced out of the reach of most owners. Pitbull as far as I know may be the only resource for a few non-BRP accessories, which I am sure we all are looking forward to the various items. Having a one stop shopping place would be a win win for everyone.

I Agree

The F3 owners, present & future will benefit greatly from the availability of aftermarket accessories. I myself am looking for saddlebags & windshields that will work for the F3. Taller guys like me need more of a windshield than what's available from BRP, ditto on those wimpy little saddlebags they have. I don't care if it would take some kind of adapter brackets if that's what is needed. Someone needs to get the ball rolling on this.

Parabellum

I contacted Parabellum windshields to inquire about one for the F3. This is their reply:

We do not make a shield for that model at this time.
Keep an eye on our website. if we get a bike in here we'll do one.

Thank you,

Madtad F3 windshield

I have contacted Madstad Engineering and they have been working on a F3 windshield. I am
taking my F3S to them next Tuesday for them to do some more design and fit work on the windshield.
So you might contact them by email to see when they will have one available.

I also spoke with F4 and they say they are working on F3 windshield options and will have them in two to three months

Windshields

Sounds like some aftermarket windshields are in the works, which is good news. Not much news besides Corbin in saddlebags but I still believe brackets could be made for mounting generic aftermarket hard or soft saddlebags to the F3. A quick detachable set of brackets would be really nice for that, especially for hard lockable saddlebags.

I seem to recall Lamont created a handle grip setup for the passenger that tied into the existing side mounting brackets. I imagine with a little altering to his design he could swap the handle for the different aftermarket mounts for saddlebags. I'd give anything to be inside his head right now :) that guy has some great ideas on the go for the F3.
