• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Extra Brake Light Connection!

I,m going to be buying a 14 inch (or So) Red Led for an extra Brake ONLY Light in the back of my New RT.
I Believe an EXTRA Light high up going On Helps a Lot to wake people up.
I,m Only going to have a Positive and a Negative on this AutoZone type Led.
Which color is the Brake wire on the RT --There,s White, Orange and I know the Ground will go on the black!
Anyone know for sure?? I ONLY want it to effect the Brake circuit.

(I tried After market and am going to return or sell on here!)

Sarge707 I just put the ESI tail light an brake light on mine 2010 RT, the one that fits in the top of the trunk lid with the chrome on top they said to hook the red to #2 (orange} wire on the plug and the black goes to the #5 { black }wire on your tail light plug's if you look at the plugs they are numbered 1-5 its real small so you'll half to clean it a little. Hope this helps.

I took a notes from one of our member, for a 5 wires plug set, blue color for both brakes and white will be for ground. Make sure you hook it up with right polarity, led are polarity sensitive. I hope this will work for you. Let us know.

Mine only has 3 wires White, Orange and Black??
Black is ground and I,m hoping I attach the other power wire to White for the Brake Light only connection?

For $20 and 4 positaps I found I can have a 14 Inch Running light strip AND an Inch above it have a 14 inch Dedicated Extra Brake Light Only! I did 2 12 inch (Bright White) Strips on the front of the Front fenders with Auotzone $20 SMD Leds and they have Double the amount of Leds as the TricLed!

Note: I tried the Aftermarket Front Leds and was Not thrilled with the 3M connectors (Almost cut right through a wire?) and bent a strip in half so I cut them up and threw them away!

Picture to come --When I,m done .

I like the idea of some extra brakelights too...
These are the offerings from TricLED... View attachment 55264

:agree:, I have the third and fourth running/brake light from Tricled and love them. Added the custom dynamics brake modulator and now it really wakes the people up behind me to my intention to brake.

I also had my butt color matched, too much black plastic for me, had it painted to match the rest of the bike ( lava bronze). It coated with a good quality wax and its a lot easier to keep clean now, a clean butt is a happy butt.

Now all I need to do is add the HMT light at the top, rear bright sides and my back end will be done. Still need to add lighted mud flaps and front bright sides.

Also because I want to be seen from the rear, I bought 25 foot waterproof RGB LED's strip and stuck them on the edge of the RT-622 front and rear lids. They reflect out of the lid to the sides and I can change the color to any RGB combination. So in daytime ridding there white or yellow, night time ridding there red or yellow. Privately at night in my garage there flashing Christmas tree lights :opps:

Ordered another 50 foot role of waterproof RGB's plan to put rgb halo on trailer and spyder as a winter project.
