• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Extended warranty question.

Same question. I have a 2012 RT with low milage. My Best extended warranty is over later this year, and I would like to extend for a couple more years.

Get an aftermarket warranty they're just as good best is not even part of BRP it's a the aftermarket too. There is other brands out there. Call Pit Bull they got good deals

Screw the extended warranty

Forget the extended warranty and buy a BRP manual. This will give you step by step instructions to fix most things. Yes, you will have to spend a little on tools.
I had a water pump start leaking on my 2010 RT. I took it all the way down and removed the clutch cover so the old water pump could be pressed out and the new water pump could be pressed in. I did have to buy the special tool to press the water pump in with but that's ok. I learned a lot along the way and I know that bolts were torqued, not put on with whatever torque was set in a drill/driver. Praise God, everything has been dry for the last two years.:riding:

Yes, you can get an extended warranty.

The 3 year BRP extended warranty on my '12 RTS expired this month. After doing some checking and calling around I ended up purchasing a 3 year Rider's Advantage Service Agreement offered by Century Automotive Service Corp. This MUST be purchased through a dealer. The best deal I was able to find was at Pitbull Powersports. They were very helpful in explaining the program and we handled everything over the phone. Give them a call.

In my world a Service Agreement and an extended warranty are two different things. With a Service Agreement you get X number of services for a set price and the extended warranty covers certain repairs to covered items that quit working. So a Service Agreement may not cover something that goes wrong or breaks on your Spyder but they likely cover things like scheduled maintenance. Really do your research before you purchase anything as you may never get your money's worth out of your investment.

Suggest calling Pitbull.

I would suggest calling Pitbull Powersports. You don't have to buy from them but they sent me all the details about the plan via e-mail that explained everything very well. Any dealer can sell the plan. I bought from Pitbull because they had the best price for the plan I wanted. You can reach them at 417-863-1418 and tell them you want info in the Riders Advantage Service Agreement. Hope this helps.
