• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Experience with PitBull

It's not very often I post something on the SpyderLovers forum, but my recent experience with PitBull Power Sports needs to be written.....One month ago my wife and I are on a 600+ mile ride with the SOAR group to practice for our Canada ride. At about 150 miles from home, the dreaded "Orange Screen" lit up my dash and the bike immediately went into limp mode. To make this part of the story shorter, the group waited with me until the Spyder cooled down and we restarted the engine. Still the bright orange warning screen, but the engine limp mode was gone. All warning indicators were for the power steering unit. That was true, we were now driving without any power assist......Made it home. Now it's time to move to our new address, 350 miles south. Moved from Dubuque, Iowa to Columbia, Missouri. After a week of unpacking, we called Travis at PitBull and asked if he could schedule an appointment for us. We dropped off the Spyder last week, the service dept diagnosis was a complete power steering unit - electrical dead short. Major assembly. The parts manager ordered the part and got it in three days, awesome ! Thursday and Friday was spent disassembling and reassembling. Evidently with the new 2014, the entire front ends come off the Spyder along with most everything except the engine. Len - the dealership owner - showed me a picture of our Spyder taken apart. Holy Smokes - I about fainted when I saw my new bike in a hundred pieces. (Thank goodness Len showed me the picture after repairs were completed). During the repair process, I was kept up to speed by the service manager on the repair progress, was offered a loaner Spyder for as long as I needed it, and was personally greeted by Len today when my wife and I arrived to pick it up. The ride home was about 3 hours at 75+ mph. Len also said they did a lazer alignment before releasing it to me. Our Spyder drives like a completely new machine !!! Thanks Len, please thank your service and parts managers, and for sure, please thank the repair technicians. You made a customer for life. DubuqueSpyderRyder.

That is why

I drove from WA state to purchase 2014 RTS and 622 trailer. Len and Vanessa are awesome folks that truly know what customer service means...

I have a good dealer / Ray C's Extreme / Lapeer Mi.. If I didn't I'd be drivin to Pittbull FOR SURE :) The business I've done with Len has been great and he seems like one of the GOOD ONES :)

PIT BULL

I just ordered my 2014 from Len at Pit Bulls, why would I take a grey hound bus 14 hours to pick up a new spyder ?? because he and the crew tell it like it is, I think they love what they do and understand what it takes to be a great dealer, A dealer others should take training from (JMHA) I hope they fill the tank I got a long ride home LOL:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

It is great to see and hear about a very pro-active dealer. I almost made my 2014 :spyder2: purchase there. I did have dealings with them concerning oil change service kits.

They treated me well, I enjoyed the experience, and my merchandise arrived quickly. Never talked with Len, but his staff seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. They knew what they were talking about and took care of business.

If ever in the area, I would stop in.

Hey Bob. Maybe we can kidnap them and relocate them up here. Tom :trike:

Hmmmmmm...

Maybe they should take your trailer back and give you a new one. Maybe they could deal with BRP. That is if they are that good?

Just a thought.
