• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am trying to find a legal/official source for the Texas motorcycle laws in regards to the cat converter. I want to get the Spyder Attitude bypass, but for autos there can be as much as a $20,000.00 fine for modifying the exhaust to remove the cat conv. I have Googled and Binged with nothing for motorcycles?

Don't have a cat on my GS and she passes the inspection every year.

California has the strictest emission laws, and I believe that is the reason for the cat converter in the :spyder2:, so it can pass California emission laws. A friend of mine had to sell his old Jeep for that reason when he moved there. He was told that "if a vehicle can pass California emission laws, it is legal anywhere else. But if it hardly passes on any other state, California will not allow it".:dontknow:
