• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Every hero needs a Sidekick

Well my Sidekick finally arrived from Light & Motion. It was one of those Kickstarter projects. This is a video light for the GoPro Hero cams. I'll be using it with my Drift camera.
It's waterproof down to 60 meters....deeper than I can go!

They started shipping them in March, but since they had 1000 supporters it took a while to get mine.

It's CNC machined out of aluminum. Up to 600 lumens of a 90° flood light.
They also offer a Sidekick Duo that also has a 23° spot light.
They are made in the USA!

I just updated an older post yesterday regarding this light. I'm not sure where I'll use it. I have the Duo Sidekick, and with either light on, it could probably damage your retinas, if you're the one being photo'ed. I guess, for me at least, I'll use it for scenery shooting.

Very nice..!!

Does it work as a flash or just a on off additional light. Be great for those that do night filming or wanted to...
