a tv or a house phone or the INTERNET. i lost all 3 yesterday morning and i have been lost with out them. it's feels good to be back

Did you know that with a Ham radio you can connect into the land line phone system? I use to do that back when there were mobile phones. It just cost me $25 a year for as many calls I needed to make.

when i had my boat back in the 70's i could also do it with the ship to shore. i never use my land line here at home, it's just part of the package deal

internet & don't care about tv while i am there.

when i am at work if that stuff is down i go crazy & can't get anything done.

I can read, write and do math in two steps instead of twenty. I can make build and design. I can cook sew and do house work. But above all I can fire up my generator...:roflblack: the interesting part is have come from a country with terrorist factions loving to blow up power tower, I have used my generator more here..:roflblack: mostly want to keep the frigerator going...
