• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Even the BRP demo trucks are having a hard time keeping stock

One of the local dealerships had the BRP demo truck there doing demo rides and showing off their new spyders. Thing is, they only had 1- 2022 (or 2021) RT Limited, 2- rykers, and a used 2021 base RT for demo. In fact, they were using the bike (2016 F3T) that i sold to the dealership to lead the people around who wanted to do demo rides. So to say that there is a shortage of bikes is an understatement. Fortunately my old bike was super clean and ready to go. Otherwise they would have had to escort the riders around using a 2 wheeler. I walked around looking at my old bike and the Can Am spokesperson walked up and stated that this was not the latest model, but just a good example of a low milage spyder and shows how well they are made. Stated that "can you believe that this is a 2016"? All I could do was smile and agree. Another guy there had just taken the 3 wheeled class and asked them was it for sell and the price. They were not way overboard, but it did make for an interesting few minutes conversation.

What's more fun then having a secret that no one else knows.....

My wife just got back from a 3-wheel class today. They had 3 Rykers and a 2022 F3-S. Instructor said all these units were “sold units” thru the local BRP dealer, to be delivered after the class. Was surprised to see a ‘22 F3-S in south Texas already - but I believe the matte black with blue frame is a ‘22-only color.

Haven't Seen anything posted on here yet about this but it may have been in another thread.

Just heard about this yesterday at our Spyder Ryders meet up.

Apparently a Can-Am Factory in Mexico was torched last July.

That fire shouldn't have had any impact on the supply of Rykers or Spyders tho...

Here's a post quoted from one of the earlier threads about that fire - the reports all said just SSV's were effected. ;)

I am not sure if this is true or not, but I heard that the fire at the BRP plant in Mexico produced off road vehicles and rykers (but not spyders). If this is true, there could be a shortage coming up soon, which will mean possibly no rebates or deals to be had. I love that you live in the NC. I am also in NC, but near the center of the state. I go to the mountains as often as I can and love pretty much any area, whether I am on 2, 3, or 4 wheels.

So, since it was only the SSV's in storage that got burnt, there should be no more 'shortage of supply' for Rykers than normal then!?! :dontknow:

Be interesting to see....
