• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Please advise as to where engine number is and how to get to it so that I can record same?

I need it in order to obtain new title and registration on used Spyder I just received.

thank you for your help.

I did find in owners manual that engine number is one the lower back portion of engine.

Any suggestions as to what I need to remove in order to see engine number stamp. Do I need to jack this sucker up in the air?

I did it.

On the left side: remove middle side panel. Remove top side panel. About two thirds of the way down backside of engine is the number.

Used light and wife's makeup mirror (broke makeup compac in half to get just mirror-oops wife doesn't know yet) to read first number-all other numbers can be seen.

Good job! When you go out to the store to buy your wife a new compact, stop by the auto parts store. They sell mirrors on a flexible handle, pretty cheap. Stick it in the garage, it'll come in handy someday again.
