• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kudo's on the trailer traction issue …… What I did was to dimple ( with a large nail ) some 26ga.galvanized sheet metal 6" X 10' ( and screwed it onto my center ramp ), it looks like a " cheese " grater :roflblack…...I put my Spyder on my trk for long distance travel.( see my album on this ) .... I climb 30 in. on 10 ft ramps :yikes: …. I have done this in the pouring rain, and it has NEVER slipped...………. those shingles have decent traction, but are fragile ……………...Nice DIY tho ….. Hey Bor

I got the same response from a cousin who said "You don't wanna use shingles, they will wear out!" But, he's a guy that will use a 6x6 beam when a 2x6 would be overkill. I load the Spyder twice a year into it. I can replace the shingles easily but I've never had to in the last 3 years. Your cheese grater is a good idea except I use this trailer as living quarters from time to time and the sharp metal might be a hazard. Shingles not so much. Great idea tho

Thanks , but like I said I have to climb a very steep incline, and sometimes in Bad weather ….. so the shingles are not an option for me...… Mike :ohyea:
