• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Emergency rope towing - rts se5

Hi all - Can I rope tow my 2010 rts se5 without causing auto-trans damage ? ( how far and what max speed ) THX

You can put the bike in neutral and use a cable to pull it up on a flat bed tow truck. I would not pull it any further than that. There is zero lubrication of the tranny, clutch or engine while its not running.

Depends..!

freewheeling is not the problem. The engine is not running but there are really no good towing points on the spyder. I would not tow it unless it was a real emergency and then only to get it to safety or out of the way. Get a trailer or tow truck...jmo
