Electrical Question

I have a 2015 Spyder F3-S with a Shark 1000w amplifier for audio. I connect my iPhone to the amp via the aux port. I also have installed a USB port for power for my iPhone. System works great if the iPhone is not connected to the USB port. When the iPhone is connected to the USB for power, I get a lot of "engine noise and hiss" in the speakers. I have tried grounding the amp output ports to the frame and installing a noise filter but did not help. Looking for suggestions.

Sounds more like a ground problem on the USB port side of things. I suggest grounding the amp AND the USB port at the same location. Needs to be bare metal or stud etc...
