• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can you give measurements or more info on how much rise there is on these assuming straight up?

Also, what prevents these (or any others of the same general design) from sliding on the handle bars? Is there a hole drilled which holds in place, rubber "bushings" or just tighten the hell out of them?

Last question... Any chance I can use the existing par ends after cut? I have ISO grips and the left one had to be glued. Call me cheap, but I don't want to have to buy a new set of grips just for this.

I'm definitely interested. Right now, I have a 3" billet riser block and the wires (especially for trunk release) seem REALLY tight. It would be somewhat of a hassle to remove -- but I think this would be a better long term solution.

Thanks,

Dennis

i have the original risers and i ride my spyder like i stole it and never had a problem with them ...:2thumbs:

Just curious . . . I have the HeliBar riser in place.

It has struck me that I would like a bit more up and back. The alternative is to put the BRP 1" riser in under the HeliBar.

This looks like an easier install and appears to offer even more adjustability.

Would this work OK with my HeliBar riser?

What are the chances that a dealer could/would install these? I've got no mechanical ability whatsoever so I am at the mercy of my local dealer.

My dealer put on the NMN handlebar risers...if you offer to pay for their labor, esp. these days, they'll gladly do most anything for you, provided it is not deemed dangerous/unsafe.

I didn't even consider cutting my handlebars...the dealer did the install and did just fine.

You might ask some of the local Spyder owners for assistance.... You never know you might get lucky and not have a dealer bill.

kool! Isee in the pis a short windshield, they work ok (without hitting) a tall windshield?

Our SE5 runs a C.H.A D. with no problems hitting at all.

I don't know what shield you have but the added adjustability of these makes it very doubtful they would hit yours no matter who's it is.

risers

OK, so they will NOT work with the 1" BRP riser, how hard is it to replce the stock one, I still have it, I think.
Dealer put it on but I have some skills... even if typin is not one of them!

Christmas list

OK... one more ESI product I need to add to my growing list!;)
I don't have any ESI mods yet, but once the cash flow improves and IF my :spyder: behaves, I'll be calling to help get a prioritization of what to add and in what order:thumbup:

Are you still able to use the stock mirrors? (They look covered in the picture)

It appears with the forward offset of the riser the bars are not moved rearward(back) much? More just upward. Is this correct?
I noticed with the automatic Spyder application the offset is reversed facing rearward moving the bars rearward, can the manual riser setup also have the offset reversed like this also?
Looking at these for the wifegod's Spyder, she has shorter arms and needs the bars moved up and rearward.

Thanks.

You might want to try the "Kewlmetal risers", I did a thread on them just do a search.
