• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Now that i have an RT i want to put a few mods on it. What i want to do is put an fuse block some where that would have easy access to the fuses. I am thinking of useing the pc-8 from easter beaver, where would be a good place to mount & what length wire would i need? Any one with experence i would welcome your advice Please.:hun:

Mounted my fuse block behind the front trunk liner. Easy access to fuses without removing any panels.
Downside is when you need to remove the front trunk you must disconnect the wires.

Might switch it over to the rear trunk this winter and rewire runs to the GPS, alarm, voltmeter and Ambient temperature gauges. Location of the fuse block really depends on where you want to pick up your switched source and where you need to run the wiring for your mods. In short, plan your mods and pick a locale that satisfies your wiring requirements and you can't go wrong.

Thanks North star. I was hopeing to stay away from the trunk. just because of that. looking for another option. Haven't started anything yet. still riding. Will wait until winter when it's too cold to ride. one of the things i want to install is the wires for my gerbing gear. ride safe. Ben:ohyea:
