There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hello Everyone,

I recently emailed Dynojet to see if they had plans to make a PC5 and AutoTune for the Spyder. Check out the response I received. I hope someone can take advantage of a free Power Commander in exchange for some R&D on your machine over the colder months???

This is the response I received:

As of right now, we are looking for a bike to do some research on. If you know anyone in Vegas with one send them to me.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Chris Kelly

They've been looking for one to play with for quite some time now--- nobody seems to want to take them up on this deal.

I'm in Vegas and willing to try most things twice. I don't know anything about Dynojet though. Can you let me know what they are looking for ?

Check out this website:

They make the best fuel management system (IMHO) on the market. I owned several of their Power Commander systems and they are second-to-none!. The PC5 allows mapping of your fuel in all gears and all rpms. It's similar to the TB Juice Box only better. It allows for much more detailed tuning! They also have an AutoTune fuction available for their PC5 products. The AutoTune feature allows you to simply plug into the stock O2 bung with an upgraded 02 sensor provided and you can set the desired A/F ratios and let the AutoTune do all the work! It's kind of like having a dyno built right in to your laptop! You plug in your laptop to fine-tune everything. I had this feature on my 2009 VMAX and it was awesome! I absolutely hope you can contact Dynojet and let them use your Spyder. They will do some research on your Spyder to come up with a system for it. Their contact info. is listed above. I can pass your contact info onto them as well if you're OK with that? You will receive a free PC5 and probably AutoTune if you wanted it. I know they badly want to get a PC5 on the market for our Spyder. I don't know how long they will want it for or the particulars involved, but they can fill you in on that. I'm sure they will take extra good care of it. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Thanks. I'll give them a call tomorrow. As long as they don't want the bike for too long and such, I don't have a problem with it. If I end up doing it I'll let evryone know how it it goes.

If you look in our 4 sale section you will see that MetroAsian has his Spyder for sale and it has the first Power Commander in it. He also let them use his Spyder and got it free.

Maybe they won't need another Spyder for very long since they have already done it once.

Would dynojet testing and power commander installation be a potential warranty issue in the future?

With so many "slightly used" Spyders out there now for very low prices, I can't believe a company the size of Dyno Jet can't step up and just buy one, use it, and then sell it.

If a company the size of ESI can step up and buy an SE5, SM5 and order a new RT with trailer to do R&D, I can't understand these huge companies needing to "borrow" one for a product line that would more than pay for the investment to purchase and resell one. :dontknow:

I just spoke to Chris in their R&D department and he said that they now have a Spyder and no longer need help. Well, that ends for me . It could have been an interesting venture. Hope to see some of you at Bike Week in Vegas next week.
