• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Duck & weave. Newbie Q's

I just picked up my F3T from the dealer this morning and ride it the 70 miles home (30 miles of it was 46-degrees and drizzle but...)

As I brake hard the nose seems to dive surprisingly fast. Corners were jerky, the suspension seeming to collapse then bounce back up. I'm a big rider, do you think this is about the stock preload on the shocks? I haven't adjusted them yet. I intend to.

I also have a BajaRon swaybar in a box that arrived a couple days ago. Two up is in our future and I was already researching Elka level-3 shocks.

Thoughts on the bouncy-bouncy?

I'm sure someone will give a more informed answer, but I can attest the F3t brakes are really responsive. I'll be interested to see the other replies.

BTW, Belrix, I'm giving you two more weeks to ask "newbie" questions. Then it'll have to be just questions. But don't stop asking them.

It's the whole, "New bike" thing... give yourself a chance to get used to your newest pride and joy, and you'll be riding like a Pro in no time! :2thumbs:

Patience: the single virtue, that none of us can wait to acquire...

Make sure there's some air in the rear shock. From posts, it seems dealers occasionally "forget" to do this. Have fun!

The new sway bar will help in the corners and if you are a big guy, crank up the preload on the fronts and check your tire pressures.....

Welcome welcome....

You gotta give it more time. Don't know what you rode before or what your used to. The DPS (dynamic power steering ) can be sensitive to a death grip or unsure manuvering. Check tire air pressure and make sure that both fronts have the same pressure. Adjust preload if you have adjustment if not get with BajaRon for some...
