If there are any notable jazz drummers working now, I don't know about them. They'd have to be something to out-do these guys:

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That film brings back some memories from days gone by. A lot of the big band movies would feature a drum solo by either/or. I remember seeing this duel piece, but cant remember the context.
These were great drummers. I can not think of any current ones of the same stature. I do bet they are out there.

There are a few...
Phil Collins come to mind. But there will never be drummers like those back then. They played and were active till the end while now they come and go quickly. They were the ones that made the drums a main part of the musical groups...had many of their albums...:thumbup: thanks for the musical memories....
