Where is the best place to mount driving lights on a-arms top or bottom
Depends on the model a bit...
View attachment 152919 but I have seen most on the A arms....
Figuring that being seen was even more important than seeing: I went with a lighted Bumpskid!

I have the bump skid LEDs (sort of) also. About 25% of mine quit on one side and now other lights intermingled with the rest have quit working. Now it looks like a lop-sided, gap-tooth creature going down the road. Not real happy with the lack of longevity of the LEDs. I will probably just unplug them when the spirit moves me..... But, they looked great and made the bike really visible when they worked.
Doc Riverside figured out what was wrong, and how to fix it!
good ideas on the mounts; Where are you getting power? Tap into the position light wires?
I believe both Lamonster and TricLED (and probably some others) have instructions with their product which suggest where to get the power from. Maybe you should buy the lights first and then ask questions if the vendor doesn't answer them?
Nice setup. I'd recommend upgrading to LED headlights from TricLED to complete your front end presentation. I recently purchased a set from Reggie and I installed mine and now,...... I love them. :thumbup:Here's Cindy's LED driving lights on an F3-L, mounted to the existing fender bolt.View attachment 152935View attachment 152936
Pete, I like this ....and the added benefit is the light will turn in the DIRECTION of the fender / wheel ....... Not so important on the highway but at slower speeds you it's nice to see what 's coming up ahead of you ....
