• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody had the DPS update done yet if so have you had any problems. Went in about a month ago and had it done. I was so shocked it made the front end really squirrley.. Any suggestions:pray:

Gee... Most of the folks here either felt as if the front end was more stable or at least the same as before... Check your tire pressures to make sure that they're the same from side to side, then check your shock preload settings. After that I'd take it back to the dealer and start a good conversation with the guys who pounded the new parts into place. Good Luck!

Afriend of mine had his done the same day as mine, he discovered that his power assist had NEVER worked, took a while to get used to. That said, are you white knuckling the handlebars? Relax and try not to over correct, a light grip works best with a Spyder. Hope this helps.

Had mine replaced last July at first the steering felt light, Now i don't even notice any difference [7 thousand miles on the new DPS]
Relax your grip on the bars and you'll get used to it.

Mine felt very squirrely also, like the tires had 30 lbs. in them, almost wished it was like before, but you will get used to it soon and love it even more, looking back the old steering felt slow and cumbersome.

Had the DPS update done in September of last year. Although my steering wasn't all that bad, I loved the upgrade. However, my DPS crapped out on me yesterday.
