• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DPS question

My 2008 GS SE5 started to act up yesterday. It seems like power steering turns off at higher speeds. Hard to turn at over 10 mph, seems fine at lower speeds( easy to turn the handlebars). Sometimes while making a left/right turn seems like I am about to lose control. OK changing lanes. No mods, 15,000 miles, checked the fuses all seem OK, tried to pull the codes- "no active codes". New battery 3 months ago. Any ideas?

Double check those battery cable connections. The dps pulls a lot of juice and a loose cable can easily do what your describing.

If memory serves me, the POWER steering is NOT supposed to be on at 10 MPH.............Mike

Agree..!!

check all battery connections and ground connections. The dps assists at low speeds but if you are feeling a big change from normal and all connections fuses are good you may need to have it checked out with buds at the dealer...:gaah:
