• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does the F3 need a new design?

Does anybody else think that the F3 needs to be redesigned after 10 years of the same looks? I do and I hope it's a homerun. Your thoughts?

ExRocket,

I don't think that the F3 needs a redesign. I am happy with the F3 looks now.

Typical with most makes and models of anything these days. Get a basic design, make very few improvements or design changes, change the colors every year.

I will give them credit for the new Canyon this year. :2thumbs:

Change :bbq: :bbq: to some QUALITY TIRES, frame color options, not restricted to just
"Special" series. The Digital dash could have few display options & configurations. Just a thought.

I would like to see a new design. There are some ai generated images going around of the 2025 ryker that would be a great look for the F3 series. I haven't seen an improvement on the F3 that would make me upgrade from the 2016 F3L Special series that I currently have. Until they do something radical, the additional bells and whistles that they have added since 2016 are not worth the change.

I am with Deanna777. I think the F3 looks great. I would rather see improvements in quality control and reliability. Fix what's wrong with the machine first. No more recalls for sprocket and output shaft failures. Maybe improve customer interface (dealer issues).

These are all long term customer enhancements and will not translate into the short term hype and sales spike of a 'New! All New! marketing campaign. But remember. Every time they make major changes, it drives the price up. Adds to the parts list that are hard to find or get discontinued. And hurries planned obsolescence.

The Spyder will last a long time if properly maintained. I'd like to see manufacturer support last as long as the vehicle.

BajaRon,

I agree with you 100 %.

I definitely want to see a new F3.
I don’t like the look of the current models, so I was forced to buy a used RS (my 3rd) again...
If I was forced to choose between a Ryker, an F3, or an RT, it would be an RT; but I’m hoping for better looking F3 before this RS kicks the bucket.

I'm fine with the design, although I think more color choices would be nice. The F3-S really needs a bump in power/torque. It's supposed to be the "Sport" model, but it feels lacking in sportiness.
