There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I finally got some mods for my red SM5. Love the Corbin seat, bags and smuggler trunk. I think Corbin did a great design job. Most of the items were very easy to install after watching their DVD a few times.:clap:

Ok I went to your album and as far as I can't tell if your butt is too fat because I couldn't see it.Oh you were talking about the smuggler trunk. I thought never mind! The trunk looks GREAT!

Do you mind if I ask how tall you are and if your back touches the back rest when you are riding? I'm 5'6 and wondering if I would even feel the back rest back there if I were to get the smuggler trunk.

Yep your butt looks fat real fat around here we call it thick :joke::2thumbs::2thumbs:
:spyder:is lookin thick :thumbup::ani29:

Lamonster, I can't believe you included my pic:opps:. thought I hid it in my profile (LOL). For those that asked, I'm only 5FT tall, I'm using the 4in riser but still lean foward most of the time. If I sit upright my back does go against the backrest but when in the "sport bike" position just the small of my back touches it. Hope this makes sense. Another item is that the smuggler snaps on and off easiliy and the Corbin passenger seat snaps on for 2 up riding. I did find out that you cannot leave the BRP backrest on your bike with the smuggler in place. In addition, the seat sensor is not used. When you snap the Corbin passenger seat on in place of the smuggler the sensor is plugged into the seat. I have a Corbin backrest on my Indian and it can be used on my new corbin seat (guess they make a one size fits all backrest). I do have pictures of my corbin seat with the BRP backrest, I will place them in my album tonight.

I thought it was a great picture and I wanted to make sure the boys were nice to you with a loaded question like that. ;)

By the way I have the same setup and love it. It changes the whole look of the Spyder in a good way. :doorag:

I have the same set-up with 1" inch BRP riser and 7" Kewlmetal bar and I am 5'1". If I am just riding along without thinking about it, my Corbin seat pushes me forward a little (as Lamonster had stated was the reason he reworked his); however, it is not that big of an issue for me at this point. I can feel the back rest only when I forceably push myself back to adjust for a different riding position.

I love the fact of how much I can carry with the bags and the Smuggler.

The only complaint I have with my Smuggler is the fact that it is pretty difficult to lock and unlock no matter how much WD40 or whatever my husband uses. The lock is just plain stubborn. Anyone else ever have this problem and resolved it?

AMTJIM Fanstastic post but i think you put it in the wrong thread. Also i hope everyone watches and listens. :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Just a thought...... if the trunk locks the same as the Corbin seat, you might adjust the Male side of the locking pin (located on the bottom of the trunk) -- about 1 turn (out - CCW) should do it. I had to adjust both seats that way on my Spyder, or they were too close (tight). Might just help.

I think I misstated the problem - it's the locking latch like on the Corbin bags that is difficult to lock/unlock. Not how the Smuggler attaches to the bike itself, but the lock to get into and out of the Smuggler.
