There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There used to be an aftermarket rack that slid into a rectangular frame made by a sponsor here, but it’s been so long…
Thank you in advance.

I think most of the racks for the touring models are trunk mounted. If you want one mounted to the rear without a trunk, I can almost guarantee you that a local welding shop can build you one, from stainless steel if you like, for a reasonable price. Draw a sketch and take the scooter in to let them get measurements.

There is a metal shop nearby that makes all kind of stuff.

Search 'rear sports rack' for your year & model Spyder. It can assist with options to bolt to.

That might work OK for an RT Spyder @mbranscum, but it won't work for an RS Spyder, which is the model in question in this thread, cos the RS's don't/can't have the rear trunk that particular rack needs to bolt onto! ;)

I really hope that I like next edition of Spyder, whether it be an updated F3 or something new, just so I don’t have to deal with stuff no longer available for the RS.
I just don’t like the current models.

My 2014 RSS came with a passenger backrest. I virtually never carry a passenger, and I didn't like the looks of the backrest unoccupied, so I made this mini rack out of aluminum. Aluminum is probably not sturdy enough for a luggage rack, but a machine shop could implement something in steel. The passager backrest mount is very sturdy and I would think that the mount could handle the load.
