• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone have/can share the BRP Emissions data sheet for a 2014 RT?

Hi , does any one have any data on a 2014 RT Limited emissions, it needs to be from BRP. I am trying to get compliance in New Zealand and they won't pass it until I can provide the data sheet. I've been trying for weeks, but I'm unable to find anything?!

You can't be the only Spyder owner in all of New Zealand. What did they do for the others when they needed to pass emissions? Surely, they didn't require every owner to come up with specs that the manufacturer is required to file with the government.

I can't believe that you are the first person/dealer who has needed to import a Can Am Spyder into New Zealand, and that they don't already know this information. Oh, Ron already said that!

A little Googling shows that New Zealand Standards are tied to European Standards. A little more Googling shows that the USA California (CARB) standards are more restrictive than the European standards. The compliance label is under your seat that proves - from BRP - that the Can Am Spyder complies with CARB standards. And so thus, by definition, would comply with New Zealand standards. Those labels are pretty robust, so unless someone deliberately tried to remove it, it should still be there. Looks something like this. Of course, none of this applies if your exhaust and/or other emissions control systems have been modified in any way.

Don't you have tail-pipe emission testing there? Why can't they just test it? Maybe you need to go to a different office. Requiring you to supply exact emission data in ppm, percentage, and ppb is nuts.
