• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dochands TPMS

Okay, can anyone tell me, if you leave the rubber valve stems on with a tire pressure monitor system that they will eventually fatigue and break?

With or without the TPMS, rubber stems deteriorate and crack over time. I've had some last as long as ten years (riding lawn mowers) and others, two years.

No I didn't. Just straight on the existing stems. Never thought about the issue but I guess it should be a concern.

Tiregard allows you to set thresholds and pressures for each sensor. It also allows you to remotely monitor for all thats worth. lol

My Spyder has a TPMS as standard equipment.

It was in the tool kit that came with the Spyder.;)

Good point. :ani29: No matter how you do it, I don't think enough pre-ride inspection is given to tires. They take alot of abuse. I inspect mine often just so I know what is going on there (including lugs). It's all anyone would need is to have a tire fail. I think as I go on I am doing more in terms of pre-ride checks. 14 has a few miles on her now! :doorag:
