• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The tires are directional, so it requires dismounting, remounting and balancing. Most owners don't do it.

If your Spyder is properly aligned, spell that laser aligned, and you maintain equal pressure in both tires you should not have to worry about rotating.

ROTATING TIRES = BRP - BS

This is BRP's way of fixing the fact that they can't seem to send out Spyders with properly aligned tires 75 % of the time.......All front tires on all Spyders should get at least 20,000 miles ( or more ). If they are properly aligned.....I'm not making this up !!!!!....If your FRONT tires aren't wearing evenly they are OUT OF ALIGNMENT and this needs to be corrected, otherwise you suffer premature tire wear for as long as you own it........So forget the tire rotating thing and get your Spyder aligned with someone using the Rolo / Outlaw Lazer system......Most Dealers do not have this system...........Mike :bbq:

Add wandering, lousy handling and lower fuel mileage to the list for a poorly aligned Spyder.

Almost 22,000 miles on my OEM Kendas, and still plenty of tread, and wearing evenly. I attribute this to a laser alignment, done when I had fewer than 1,000 miles on my 2013 RT. I've read too many problems that folks have had, after rotating, that I opted not to do so.

Curious. ....

As I remember rotating your tires on the old bias ply was crisscrossing them. As the newer radials came out the rotation was simply front to back. Many of the folks that did rotate them as indicated only had more problems and it did not help at all. Once the laser alignments came out tires wore evenly. I had one tire wearing on the edge and once aligned eventually evened out and they lasted over 30,000 miles....Still your choice...
