• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Has anyone seen a diy air suspension system. I've seen one on youtube. It looked good bot the author gave no information. This tag was mrjjwingo. I would like to try if I have a parts list and instruction. Thanks.

Are you talking about a DIY onboard compressor system the mimics what the "S" and Limited models can do?? One of our members here put together just such a sytem... I don't remember who though... He named his thread something like "Turning my A&C into an S" :opps:
I believe that he mounted the compressor behind a panel in the top trunk and put his controls up in the glovebox... A pretty cool conversion!

Yes, but he gave very little information like, type of gage, tubing diagram, looks like there is a pressure sending unit. Also he had a dump valve.thanks.

I am not sure what the others here are talking about, but Baker Built has made up a great kit. It has a push button adjstment in the "Glove Box" . The compressor is in the truck and can be "unhooked/switched" and used to inflate things like tires.I had him instal it at a rally and it has worked great at a very reasonable price to me.

Talked to Baker Built, They have a kit for 299.00 that mounts in the trunk. IT can also be used to inflate the tires

It was me, had 2 air horn "air valves'' and a 10.00 compressor from wal-mart. went to lowes and got a had full of fittings and hose. really to hard for me to explain how i put it together. its still working today.

Great job Farmboy, I've done many of the mod you have and having trouble with the air bag holding air. The spyder is currently in the shop for the steering recall finally and they are going to check the air bag. It's been there a week now. I found your post and thought it was very well thought out. The question I have is where you found the pressure guage that you put in the dash.

At some point in time, it would be great if you could put together just a little bit more info on your setup...:firstplace:
