There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

They still do,it's called an Escalade EXT, or at least they were still making it in the early 2000's. In the middle 70's when you couldn't get a decent pick up truck to haul your travel trailer cross country there was a funeral coach builder that did a booming business in converting Cadillac Fleetwoods,Buick Electras,Olds 98's into mini haulers. He would remove the rear deck lid, put an insert into the trunk area to finish that off and put a 5th wheel hitch in there. You could also get a gooseneck to adapt your bumper pull to be hauled with it.

The EXT was built from 2002 to 2013 with reports that it is coming back in 2018. It really wasn't a Cadillac though. It was a spiffed up version of the Chevrolet Avalanche.

I was thinking that's not really a pick-up so much as a cross-over like the Ranchero and El Camino.
But they have to big SUVs. I think they could do a true pick-up truck if they want to.

If they built a truck: would load it up with cow manure, and take it to the "Back forty" for spreading? :yikes:
The Missus and I are (not so) patiently waiting to see if the Jeep Gladiator Pickup makes it to the line-up for 2018...
