• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Diamond-R Arm Rests

I just installed the Diamond-R arm rests. The installation was very easy. The arm rests look very nice. They are well constructed, and of high quality. The work well for my wife--she gives them an "A"!

I got the ones that are black, and they look really nice. They appear to be OEM equipment. Very nicely done!

For the installation, I just followed the instructions that came with the arm rests. The only addition I would make to the instructions is to loosen the set screwes on the bracket before you install the bracket. They were a little tight and I had to grunt to loosen them. This is REALLY minor though. Also, you need a 3.5 mm hex wernch for the set screws...not a problem, just so you know.

"Good job!"to Diamond-R!

Diamond R

I have the passenger armrest and cupholder as well from Diamond R. Love their products and love dealing with them. They are top notch in my book....

they look good thanks. do they lock in place???

They swing on very tight nylon washers. So they don't lock in place. But they don't flop either. I was thinking about a self drilling screw into the arm mechanism to lock them in place...so I talked to Diamond-R about that. They recommended against it for safety reasons. The arms are longer than the Corbin arms, and the arms can be ridden closer to the body. Hence, if the locked in place they could inhibit emergency dismounts.

I've tightened the bolts down on mine to make them stay in one place a blt better... But the Missus can still shove them out of the way when the mood strikes! ;)
:congrats:

I like the armrests but passengers sure have to remember that they are not load bearing or they can seriously bend
