We were at the OSR rally in Cambridge OH this weekend.
It rained hard Friday night and Sat morning George put his key in his 1330.
The DESS light came on.
We tried all the step to get it to quit but nothing worked.
Long story short his 2 front fuse boxes were filled with water.
Once dry, the bike started no problem.
Where did the water come from?

I believe the fuse box was supposed to be on early fix it bulletin when the 1330 came out. This should be covered under warranty by your dealer.

Is this a trick question?????????????????? the water came from the rain.


Seriously, he needs to get it to a dealer or figure how the water got in there, i also would check for any corrosion.

There was a TSB issued for the 2013 bikes for this problem...
I think that this is the first time, that it's cropped-up on a 2014 bike. :yikes:
Get to your dealer; water in the wrong places: NOT good! :shocked:

The fix only applies to the 13s. The 14s already had the fix incorporated into them and they have the new style fuse covers.
