There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, I think Lamont has to give us permissions to actually post videos. There is a setting in the admin area to do this. Then all a person needs to do to post a youtube video, is to use the above example, and ADD THEIR OWN youtube video number in the middle. Then the actual video appears in the post. It's really awesome. Hope Lamont activates this.
Anyway..... That was Howard in the video that you linked. He is the Co-founder of Venture Vehicles. Him and Ian started the company, and are coming out with this car/vehicle. Ian is the one who gave me the green-light on starting the club website. We are also actually working on a 1/7th scale remote control vehicle modeled after the real thing. Very exciting stuff.
