• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yesterday when i came back from my first ride ever he asked me What did not like about the bike? i told him their was nothing i did not like about the :spyder2: but the fact that i was not really expecting the feel i got rounding a curve at 55 and kind of felt like the bike wanted to push out and yet it stayed stable. Is this feeling normal for this bike? :dontknow:

I don't let my :spyder:push me around

Yep, you'll get used to it. Lean your body or shift your weight toward the turn, and you'll feel better. Has to be more difficult for a passenger.

Welcome to the OH S*** Club. Those of us who had never ridden this type of machine all felt it. I had never been on a Spyder and the dealership let me take my wife as one of their salesman led us on I-8 in San Diego on his Sport Bike. Yea, it was freaky!

Scotty i did try to remember that on the return trip but still felt funny. after about 2 miles i remembered to loosen my arms not my grip and the steering felt better. :2thumbs:

freaky for sure. i think he was offering me an excellant deal but i have to wait. unless somebody has 16 g's they want to part with. for a few months.

It took me about 4 turns during the demo ride for all the snowmobile experience from 30 years ago to come back. By the end of the ride I was hanging the tail out in slow turns right on the edge of the computer stepping in. For my wife it was years of misspent youth on ATV's that taught her how to ride a Spyder.

The computer did save my ass in one fast turn. That was a solid 8 on the pucker factor meter :D

Call the President and tell him you want some stimulus money. Better then giving to banks and auto makers At least he can see what he got for his money and he knows hes not getting it back

Tell him the only thing you didn't like about the bike was the dealership that is selling it...

Them be fightin' words!
