• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dead Spyder and parking brake

I had an interesting experience this morning. I pulled up to the fuel pumps, filled up, turned the key, the computers booted up, dash is normal.
Went to start the byke and nothing, screen went black, nothing works.
After irritating others that wanted to use the pump that I am now blocking, I went to the battery and found the positive terminal was loose, I tightened it and away we went.

Here is the question, is there a way to release the parking brake in a situation like that so that you can push the byke out of the way? Example total battery failure, then what?

A simple way no. At least that I can think of.
Hook up booster cables or booster pack would be the simplest. I carry a booster pack.

Checking the battery connections is a maintenance item.
