Daytona Bike Week 2013

For those of you that are out of the area or don't get the Daytona Beach News-Journal. Here is something fresh out of todays paper.

"Official 2013 Bike Week parade schedlued for Saturday March 16th. Sponsored by H-D, as usual. Parade assembly starts at 7 AM. First bike out at 9 AM. Assembly area will be at the "Ocean Center" which is beach side.

This is a directed parade, virtually non-stop from the Assembly Point to the Daytona International Speedway vendor area. We, my spouse and I have participated in several and always had fun and drawn lots of "did you see that's" and finger pointing combined with hand waving.

It would be neat to have a gathering of Spyders and then we could all go over to the BRP Can-Am area for show n tell afterwards. Or some where for breakfast or a mid-morning coffee break.

Speaking of Can-Am, haven't seen any publicity anywhere about their presence at Daytona. Or have I not looked in the right places? I promise not to touch the trailer this time!

The are listed as a demo vendor on the bike week website, but otherwise I have unable to find anything. I have sent request to them direct as to whether they will have owner gathering/lunch with track ride afterwards like last year - but no response
