Daylight Saving Time Change done successfully, but the date is wrong & no way I can see to correct it?!

Something interesting I discovered today when I went to change my clock setting. I'm well versed on the time zone thing and how you probably won't get an exact time reading. What surprised me though was the date. It tells me that is October 16. My calendar says November 1. I tried scrolling through the time zones with the + sign and could briefly get it to advance to October 17 but it would always go back to the 16th. I don't plan on ever having to rely on that to confirm the current date but I find it odd that there is no way (that I know of) to accurately set the date.

The chances are likely that the year is set wrong. I had that happen on one of my clocks a few years ago. Good luck...

2024 RTL. Date/Time options are extremely limited. You can only choose 12/24 hr format
and time zone. That's it.

I did. I see you ride a 2019 F3. Totally different machines. The 2024 owners manual only says where to find the date/time function. It doesn't say how. Firmware update 4.1 changed everything. It used to be simple to adjust the date and time down to the minute. That is all gone now. All you can do is select 12 or 24 hour time display and your time zone as it relates to Zulu time +or-. If you know of a better way let's hear it.

I do have a 2019, and I am aware it is a different machine. That is why I posted to read the Owner's Manual (which would be the manual for your machine). If Can Am is keeping the manuals up to date then the correct information on adjusting the settings should be in your owner's manual. It may not be in the manual, but it should be. Can Am is infamous for coping and pasting previous years to update the manuals.

My 2025 S2S has the same software version. You are correct that the only thing you can change is the format, (12 or 24 hour), and the UTC offset. My suggestion to you based on my own bike, is to make sure you have a wifi connection. My bike had the correct date, and after adjusting the UTC offset, I now have the correct standard time.

Good idea. I had deleted my wifi in an effort to minimize Apple CarPlay disruptions. I'll give this a try.
